There are two patterns this month, but you should only get one in the Newsletter.
It would either be a paper pieced pumpkin or a paper pieced witch (just in time to have them for Halloween). In order to have some type of consistency, here are the color placements (Please note that both patterns have a unit A and a unit B):
WITCH: 1A, 5A, 1B, 3B: Orange (or as close as possible as orange)
2A, 4A, 6A, 2B: Black
3A: Greenish, or grayish, or pus?...
PUMPKIN: 5A, 6A, 10A, 11A, 1B, 3B, 4B: Black
1A, 3A, 8A: Dark Orange
2A, 4A, 7A, 9A: Light Orange
2B: Brown or Green.
The size of the block is 6”x6”. If you make copy of the block to make several make sure that the size remains the same.
You can embellish with eyes, mouth, hair by using any technique: appliqué, embroidery, paint, buttons etc.
The surprise will be on how many pumpkins or how many witches we will get
